Privacy Policy
CommOne is a shared inbox product by One Dev Studio. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can reach us.
Who we are
CommOne (“we”, “us”) is operated by One Dev Studio. Our public website is commone.net.
Questions about this policy: [email protected].
Google sign-in
You can create an account or sign in with Google. When you choose Google, we receive only the profile information Google shares for the scopes we request: your name, email address, and profile picture.
We do not receive your Google password. We use this information to create or match your CommOne user account and to show your name and avatar in the product.
Google must mark your email as verified before we accept it. If you disconnect Google or delete your account, we stop using Google for new sign-ins; existing workspace data is handled as described below.
Account and workspace data
When you register (with email or Google), we store your account details, workspace membership, and settings you configure in CommOne.
We process sign-in events and security settings (such as two-factor authentication) to protect your account.
Mailbox and channel data
When you connect email, WhatsApp, Slack, or other channels, CommOne syncs and stores the messages, contacts, attachments, and metadata needed to show a unified inbox for your workspace.
This data is processed on your instructions so your team can read, assign, and reply to conversations. Only members of your workspace can access that workspace’s channel data, subject to roles you assign.
Disconnecting a channel stops new sync; you can export or delete workspace data from in-product compliance tools where available.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve CommOne.
- Send service-related email (for example verification or security notices).
- Support customers who contact us.
- Meet legal obligations and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information. We use subprocessors (such as hosting providers) under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We keep account and workspace data while your account or workspace is active and as needed for backups, security, and legal compliance.
When you delete a workspace or account, we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records by law.
Your choices and rights
You can update profile settings in CommOne, disconnect channels, and request export or deletion of workspace data where the product provides those controls.
To exercise privacy rights or ask questions, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
